Welcome to the City of Okanogan Building Department.

Building Permit applications are linked below.  You can pick up a paper copy at City Hall, 120 3rd Ave N, Okanogan.

Inspections are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Every Other Thursday.  Inspections needed on a day when the Building Official is working at the City of Oroville will be charged for the Building Official's mileage to travel from Oroville to Okanogan.  To schedule an inspection, please call 509-422-3600 or email build@okanogancity.com 



To apply for a building permit, complete the application below.  The form can be completed electronically and emailed to build@okanogancity.com, or printed and delivered to the City at 120 3rd Ave. N, Okanogan, or mailed to PO Box 752, Okanogan, WA 98840.
Building Permit Application
Once your Building Permit has been reviewed and approved, the Building Official will notify you of the amount due.  Payment can be made in person at City Hall, 120 3rd Ave. N, Okanogan with a check, cash, or credit/debit card.  Online payments are also available, however you will still need to come to City Hall to sign your Building Permit, which must be kept on site during your project.  Our credit card processor charges a fee of 3.25% per credit/debit card transaction, or $0.95 for an e-check transaction.
